Prof. Dr. Oliver Holtemöller
Oliver Holtemöller has studied Economics, Applied Mathematics and Practical Informatics at the Justus-Liebig-University Gießen. He completed his doctorate at the Freie Universität Berlin (Dissertation: “Vector Autoregressive Models and Monetary Policy Analysis”). Between 2001 and 2003 he worked as scientific staff in the collaborative research center 373 at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. From 2003 to 2009 Oliver Holtemöller was junior professor for general macroeconomics at the RWTH Aachen. Since August 2009 he is university professor for Economics, especially Macroeconomics at the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg and head of the department macroeconomics at the Halle Institute for Economic Research – Member of the Leibniz Association (IWH). Since December 2011 he is also a board member of the IWH.
